Amaya started dancing at just 4 years old, when Mexico Lindo first started back in 2009. Her mother is Ana Lane, the Founder and Director of Mexico Lindo. She has been there since day one. Since then, she has worked hard and dedicated a lot of her time to learning and perfecting new techniques and combinations.
Amaya now specializes in teaching Jalisco, where she happily shares her expertise on more complicated steps with the techniques she’s learned over 17 years.
“Learning about and embracing others’ cultures is important now more than ever to foster compassion and connection, especially for the younger generations. Mexico Lindo is special because we are proud of who we are, and we want to show others how different yet beautiful this world is. We don’t charge for anything, and we are based in and for the community.” -Amaya
She is passionate about being an entrepreneur and is all about chasing her dreams and living life to the fullest.
“Dancing for 17 years hasn’t always been easy. Sometimes we dance in excruciating heat and have multiple performances in a day, but in the end, seeing the audience’s smiles is worth it.” -Amaya
